Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Prisma Behavioral Center (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website prismabc.com(the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this Site, how we use it, and how we protect it.

We are committed to being transparent about our data practices. This policy is written in plain language so that families, caregivers, and prospective employees can understand exactly how their information is handled.

If you have any questions, please contact us using the information provided at the end of this policy.

2. Information We Collect

You can browse this Site — including reading every article on our blog — without registering or providing any personal information. We collect personal information only in two situations: when you voluntarily submit a form, or when you choose to sign in with Google to use optional blog features.

2.1 Contact Form (Intake Inquiry)

When you submit a contact or intake inquiry, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Preferred method of contact and best time to reach you

  • Whether your child has an autism diagnosis or developmental concern
  • Whether a Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation (CDE) has been completed
  • Whether you have a medical referral for ABA services
  • Type of support requested
  • Insurance provider and plan type
  • Additional comments or questions

2.2 Careers Application Form

When you submit a job application, we may collect:

  • Full name, phone number, email address, and mailing address
  • Position of interest
  • Work authorization status and age verification
  • BACB certification type, number, and expiration date
  • Medicaid Provider ID and NPI number
  • CPR and PCM certification status
  • Educational background and field of study
  • Years of ABA experience and experience description
  • Settings worked in and age groups served
  • Availability (days, hours, settings, and start date)
  • Willingness to travel and complete a background screening
  • Past credential or conduct disclosures
  • Professional references (name, title, phone, and email — up to three)
  • Electronic signature and signature date

2.3 Optional Blog Account (Sign in with Google)

Our blog offers optional features — liking articles, saving articles, and subscribing to email updates — that require signing in with a Google account. Signing in is never required to read the blog or use any other part of the Site.

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive and store:

  • Your Google account email address
  • The name associated with your Google account

We do not receive your Google password, contacts, or any other Google account data. Sign in with Google is the only login method we offer — we never ask you to create or store a password on this Site.

2.4 Blog Interactions and Email Subscription

If you sign in and use the blog's interactive features, we store:

  • Which articles you have liked or saved (linked to your account)
  • Your email subscription status. If you subscribe, we keep your email address on our subscriber list so we can notify you when we publish a new article, along with a record of the notification emails sent to you.

We also count article views and shares in aggregate. View counting uses a random identifier stored in your browser (see Section 3); it is not linked to your name, email, IP address, or any account, and we do not record your IP address or browser details for this purpose.

2.5 Technical Information

We do not use advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools on this Site. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may process limited technical information — such as page requests — for operational and security purposes. We do not use this information to identify or profile individual visitors.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

This Site uses only what is strictly necessary for the features you choose to use:

  • Authentication cookies. If — and only if — you sign in with Google, we set first-party cookies that keep your session active. They are essential for the login feature to work and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. If you never sign in, these cookies are never set.
  • A local view-count identifier. To count article views without identifying you, we store a random identifier in your browser's local storage. It contains no personal information and is used solely to avoid counting the same reader twice. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser data.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any cookies that track you across other websites. Because we use no non-essential cookies, this Site does not display a cookie consent banner.

4. How We Use Your Information

All information collected through this Site is used exclusively for Prisma Behavioral Center's internal purposes. Specifically, we use your information to:

  • Respond to your questions and inquiries
  • Address requests related to our ABA therapy services and guide you through the intake process
  • Evaluate candidates during our hiring process and communicate decisions
  • Operate the blog features you choose to use (likes, saved articles, and your subscription)
  • Send you an email notification when we publish a new article — only if you subscribed, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link
  • Understand, in aggregate, which articles are most helpful to families

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial, advertising, or marketing purposes. We never use your blog activity for advertising.

5. Providing Information Through Our Forms

We recommend that you submit only the information needed to respond to your inquiry or evaluate your application. Please avoid including sensitive information that has not been specifically requested in the form. If you have questions about what to include, you are welcome to contact us directly before submitting a form.

6. How Your Information Is Transmitted and Stored

Form submissions. When you submit a contact or careers form, the information is transmitted electronically to our team via Resend, a third-party email delivery service, and retained in our internal email system. Form submissions are not stored in a database on this Site.

Blog accounts and subscriptions. If you sign in with Google, your account information and blog activity described in Section 2 are stored in a database operated by Supabase, our infrastructure provider, with access controls that restrict your data to you and to authorized Prisma administrators. Subscription notification emails are delivered through Resend.

For more information about these providers' privacy practices, see the Resend Privacy Policy and the Supabase Privacy Policy.

7. Embedded Content (YouTube)

Some blog articles include embedded YouTube videos. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which means YouTube does not set tracking cookies when the page loads. If you choose to play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect information about the playback under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the Google Privacy Policy for details.

8. Data Retention

Information submitted through our contact form is retained in our internal email system for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for our operational records.

Information submitted through our careers form is retained during our active hiring process and may be kept on file for a reasonable period to consider you for future opportunities.

Blog account information, likes, saved articles, and subscription records are retained while your account remains active. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of that choice so we do not email you again. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 12).

9. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information you submit through this Site. These include encrypted transmission (HTTPS), database access controls that limit each user's data to their own account, rate limiting on form submissions, anti-spam measures, and HTTP security headers.

No method of electronic transmission is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

10. Children's Privacy

Our ABA therapy services are designed for children, but this websiteis intended for use by adults — parents, caregivers, and prospective employees. Blog accounts are likewise intended for adults. Information about a child (such as age or a diagnosis) may be submitted by a parent or guardian through our contact form. We use that information solely to assist the family with the intake process.

11. External Links

This Site may contain links to external websites (for example, Google Maps). The inclusion of any external link does not imply that Prisma Behavioral Center controls, endorses, or is responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.

12. Your Rights and Choices

You are always in control of the information you share with us:

  • Unsubscribe at any time. Every notification email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in. You can also manage your subscription from the blog while signed in.
  • Remove likes and saved articles. You can undo any like or saved article yourself at any time while signed in.
  • Access, correction, and deletion. You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — including full deletion of your blog account and its activity — by contacting us using the information below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

13. Updates to This Policy

Prisma Behavioral Center may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes to this website, our services, or our operational practices. Any updates will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page from time to time to stay informed about how we handle your information.
